The Youth Scheme is an exciting programme aiming to enrich the holiday period, that will motivate our youth into proactive people.
The scheme is set up to develop key social life skills and raise awareness on fundamental youth-related issues such as friendship, family life, anti-social behaviour, gang culture and much more.
The scheme consists of classes, workshops, recreational activities, trips and outdoor challenges.
It provides an engagement beyond their classrooms so students value their educational experience.
The scheme hopes to inspire, nurture and positively guide the youth of today.
Here are the three little things that makes us special
THEME: IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF LEGENDS
Lessons from the glorious life of the Prophets
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms]. (Surah An-Nisa, Verse 163)
This year we’ll be exploring the glorious lives of the greatest people who ever lived, The Prophets of Allah. During the scheme, we’ll summarise the stories of these great prophets and go through their miraculous lives, discovering new and important lessons.
We hope by the end of the scheme, all participants will have a deep and thorough understanding of the Prophets of Allah, from which they will develop a love and appreciation for Islam and give them the ability to please Allah more.
Each day is broken up into 3 parts; a two-part Islamic Studies lesson and a creative activity session (or trip). In order to create an atmosphere of correct Islamic etiquette, our classes are taught in gender appropriate environments in separate classes. Classes will be allocated to best-suited level and age.
Week 1: Monday 5th August – Thursday 8th August (4 days)
Week 2: Tuesday 13th August – Thursday 15th August (3 days)
There will be no sessions on Fridays and Weekends. Also Monday 12th August maybe Eid ul Adha, regardless there’ll be no sessions on this day
